POSSIBLE TRIP TO CHILE???
From Guillermo Rivera - Cactus Expeditions-Argentina Birdwatching
Email: rivera@intecar.com.ar
Just a short newsletter to find out if we can gather a group for a possible trip to Chile.
I APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK, THAT WOULD HELP ME PLAN THE TRIPS FOR THIS YEAR.

In his previous newsletter he informed you about the following trip for November 2009

NORTHWESTERN ARGENTINA (CACTUS AND BROMELIADS) nov 2009
Our classical tour in the peak of the flowering season for many Argentinean cactus species. We will also see over 50 species of Bromeliads (Tillandsias, Dyckias, Deuterochonias, Achmeas, Bromelias, etc).
Dates: You must arrive to Cordoba on Nov 4 2009 You will leave from Cordoba Nov 21 2009
Mode: All inclusive,
Max number of participants: 14
Duration: 16 days
Price: $2450, all inclusive except air fare. Price may vary if number of people is less than 12)

I have a number of people interested in a trip that combines Argentina and Chile, and since I still do not have confirmed clients for the trip to NW Argentina, I thought this could be an opportunity to swap the dates.
THE TRIP TO CHILE WOULD BE AS FOLLOWS

CHILE (CACTUS AND BROMELIADS) nov 2009

CROSSING THE ANDES: Argentina and Chile combined in one trip
A great trip combining the best of both countries, plus the unique experience of crossing the Andes in two occasions! Starting from Central Argentina and heading towards the highest pass of the Andes: The San
Francisco Pass, at 4350 meters (over 14.000 feet !). In Chile, we will see most of Copiapoa species, with spectacular populations like Copiapoa dealbata, Copiapoa columna-alba among others. Crossing back the Andes
we will be in the high Altiplano or Puna (a high altitude plateau in Northern Argentina). See from the small and recently discovered Yavia cryptocarpa to forest of Trichocereus pasacana.

Dates: You must arrive to Cordoba on Nov 4 2009 You will leave from Cordoba Nov 21 2009
Mode: All inclusive,
Max number of participants: 12
Duration: 16 days
Price: $3150, all inclusive except air fare. Price may vary if number of people is less than eight.

Thank you in advance for your feedback

PS - I have received a pdf of the itinerary this trip.
Will be forwarded on request from LynnHudson@BromeliadsDownUnder.com
