Bloomin Broms Plant Sales Rules
• All plants must be drained of water before entering the venue.
• All plants must be clean & free of pests, disease & weeds. Pots must be clean.
• Plants may be potted or bare root.
• Sellers must be a registered delegate of ‘Bloomin Broms’
• A 10% commission of sales will be deducted for administrative and venue hire costs.
• Plants must have a secure name tag and a separate and secure price tag of the tear off type, this tag must clearly show the sale price and sellers surname and initial. Details are to be written with waterproof marker.
• Tear off price tags are available to sellers from the Cairns Bromeliad Society Secretary.
• Altered prices will not be accepted at the sales point.
• Sellers are advised that plant sales area and storage space is limited
• Plant Sales set up times: Friday June 5 from 4.00pm to 7.30pm; Saturday June 6 from 7.00am to 8.15am; and Sunday 7 June from 7.00am to 7.45 am.
• It is suggested that Sellers defer the offering for sale of commonly available plant varieties until the Public Sales on Sunday June 7.
• Sales area will be open to viewing by Conference delegates Saturday June 6 12.30pm to 1.00pm. No sales or removal of plants from show will be permitted during the viewing period.
• Delegates Sales: Saturday June 6 from 3.30pm to 5.00pm & • Sunday June 7 from 8.00am – 9.00am
• Public Sales: Sunday June 7 from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
• All plants are to be removed from sales area no later than Sunday 3.30pm.
• Sales proceeds, less commission, will be made available to sellers as soon as practicable after finalization of receipts.
